The Sigognac house is one of the oldest in Armagnac and a rarity in the business, as they own all their vineyards, its distillery, an exceptional ageing cellar and they bottle all their own production. Every single year, Baron de Sigognac keeps a few casks for very long “ageing” and as such they have a fantastic back catalogue, with at least some 1000 casks of vintages. An amber color with mahogany highlights. A fine nose with aromas of cinnamon and currants, fine and elegant on the palate, well-balanced with aromas of dried fruit and a slightly spicy finish.
