Utilising both Rhône and Bordeaux grape varieties this is a full-bodied, smoky and complex wine. The blend is a composition of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes alongside the Mediterranean varieties of Syrah and Malbec. The highly refined nose reveals delicate ripe fruit aromas in which bilberry and blackberry mingle harmoniously with judicious oak. Airing adds spice and liquorice notes to this wide array of aromas. After a fresh and precise attack, elegant tannins coat the palate with a dense and rich texture.
